In 1990, Edcor was acquired by The Fisher Group.
The Fisher Group is a holding company owned by Max M. Fisher
and his immediate family, and is based in the Fisher Building

and philanthropist who began his business career in the oil
and gas industry. He has served as special advisor to various
Presidents including Nixon, Reagan, Ford and Bush and their
respective administrations.

History of Service Innovations
Almost 25 years ago, when Edcor began providing
Learning Management Services, the notion of outsourcing the
administration of employee training seemed foreign to many
companies. Edcor's sales and client list have grown steadily
as it continues to demonstrate the ability to provide added
value to clients. The continual upgrading of processes and
technology has allowed Edcor not only to retain, but also
grow its client roster to include many companies recognized
on Fortune Magazine's "Best Companies to Work For"
list.
Edcor was an early adopter of the Internet and
web-based applications. In fact - throughout it’s history
Edcor has been proactively bringing innovation to its clients.
Edcor's history of investing in improvements
in technology and processes has positioned the company as
a long-term, valued service provider to some of the world’s
most dynamic and successful corporations.
