Edcor Solidifies Leadership Position in Administration
of Corporate Tuition Assistance Programs
Pontiac, Michigan – April 15, 2004 –
Edcor, a leading provider of corporate administration solutions,
has recently solidified its leadership position in the tuition
assistance administration market. During the first half of
2004, Edcor was awarded contract extensions and new agreements
with multiple Fortune 1000 organizations including Texas Health
Resources, Eaton, Agilent Technologies, Cisco Systems, Harley-Davidson,
Schering-Plough Corporation, Nestle, KLA, Philips, Alcoa and
Xcel Energy.
Quality of Transactional Processing
“We have continued to make aggressive investments in
back-office technologies and process upgrades to further differentiate
the quality of our services”, said Steve Corso, Edcor’s
President, “We have aligned these investments with our
client services quality metrics and expect this to result
in greater client retention and services growth.”
In 2003, Edcor processed over 140,000 tuition
applications. These applications resulted in over $300 million
in reimbursements to client students. For the majority of
clients, Edcor managed the physical check cutting and payment
reconciliation processes.
This resulted in faster payment to students,
universities and colleges.
Edcor’s tuition assistance administration service allows
clients to focus on policy management and organizational development
strategy. The service provides tuition assistance participants
with web-enabled submission and reimbursement tools, inquiry
management, and issues resolution. For client administrators,
consolidated participation information provides the ability
to more clearly align the program with corporate organizational
development goals.
“Most customers that we begin working
with don’t have detailed participation information to
understand the types of degrees being pursued or the universities
and colleges that are being leveraged,” added Lorne
Hamilton, Edcor Vice President of Business Development, “Providing
accurate and consolidated participation information should
better support client program planning.”
