EDCOR FOCUSED ON WORLD-CLASS SERVICE & PERFORMANCE
Leading specialized benefits solution provider appoints
new VP to lead charge
Pontiac, Michigan – Sep. 15, 2005 –
In its continued charge to protect Client and employees’ financial
and security interests and set the precedent for the industry,
Edcor, the nation’s leading provider of specialized benefits
and learning services programs, recently announced the appointment of
Robert S. Rochester to the position of vice president.
Mr. Rochester will lead Edcor’s mission to uphold the highest levels
of quality, security and financial protocols for the organization and its Clients.
Perhaps most notable among Mr. Rochester’s qualities as they relate to Edcor’s leading efforts
are his sensitivity and insight regarding the urgency and importance of individuals’ financial interests.
Mr. Rochester’s more than 30 years of experience and tenure as Edcor’s CFO since 2003
make him uniquely qualified to guide the obligations to enhance systems control performance analysis,
as well as manage vital security protocols including tuition auto-adjudication, asset management,
and continue to lead Edcor through its industry audits such as SAS-70, ISO 9001.
Edcor recognizes that Client and employee demands are raising the bar for service
in the industry, specifically their expectations regarding turnaround time for reimbursements that
require world-class performance. “EDCOR will continue to work toward our goal of issuing
reimbursement checks on the same day the reimbursement request is received. Appointing Robert to lead
this charge reflects our commitment to excellence in this area,“ said Steven J. Corso, chief executive officer
of Edcor.
Mr. Rochester has already affected positive change with regard to the management of tuition reimbursement funds,
and enhanced internal controls and increased client awareness and understanding of the financial aspects of the
specialized benefits programs. “When a client’s funds are professionally managed and full accountability
exists, it is reassuring to our Clients and their employees that their program is in good hands,“ added Corso.
Mr. Rochester earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Walsh College of Accountancy,
followed by his MBA from Wayne State University in Detroit. Mr. Rochester is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
and Certified Financial Manager (CFM).
