Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication is now offering new online degrees to help students launch careers focused on digital strategy, audience engagement and social media:

• Bachelor of Science in Digital Audiences
• Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy
• Digital Audience Strategy (Graduate Certificate)

The programs are taught by faculty comprised of top professionals and scholars in digital audience research and engagement. They are led by Digital Audiences Programs Director Jessica Pucci, the Ethics and Excellence Professor of Practice at the Cronkite School.
Pucci says the degrees help students to design and execute large-scale audience strategies through a data-driven, multidisciplinary, hands-on curriculum.

Students will have the opportunity to earn certifications such as Google Analytics and Google AdWords through their coursework, as well as work with real-world clients. “All businesses and organizations have audiences to build,” she says. “These degrees give students conceptual skills in social, search, analytics and strategy to grow and engage audiences, plus innovation and leadership skills that expand their career possibilities to roles in strategic and integrated communications, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.”

Michigan State University tackles a product-security program. Product counterfeiting is a vicious and insidious problem for modern organizations because its effects manifest in many different ways — especially in an era where a shopper can compare a product to its direct competitor in 10 seconds with the tap on a screen. Michigan State University’s Center for Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection (A-CAPP) strives to equip professionals and organizations with the skills, techniques and leading practices needed to safeguard and secure brands, products and services in the international marketplace.

A-CAPP now offers a 100 percent online professional certificate in anti-counterfeiting and brand protection. Topics covered include:
• Enforcement
• Strategy
• Supply chain management
• Communication
• Education
• Risk management

The A-CAPP program looks in-depth at challenges and solutions that relate to an effective anti-counterfeiting and product protection strategy, such as measurement and information accuracy. A-CAPP is an independent, interdisciplinary hub that focuses on education and research.

Northcentral University is pleased to announce the launch of our Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program with a specialization in Management and Organizational Leadership. This program is designed to closely align with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials and with the nurse leader competencies from the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). Offered by the School of Health Sciences, this exciting new offering can help nursing professionals prepare for management roles within hospitals and other healthcare organizations.

Students in this innovative program will use an Interprofessional Education (IPE) model to learn how to collaborate with multiple health disciplines. Topics of study include the principles of health care administration, data-driven decision making, healthcare law, and resource and financial management. Students will also learn about the best practices for recruitment, retention and staffing strategies, including the relationship between staffing levels and quality of care. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by participating in an evidenced-based research project.

To enroll in this program, students must have, and maintain throughout the program, a current, active and unencumbered license as a registered nurse (RN). To learn more about this and other degree options, please visit www.ncu.edu/edcor.

Penn State is accepting applications for the nine-credit online graduate certificate in business architecture. This new program targets improving business strategy. “Business architecture is the bridge between high-level business strategy and tactical execution,” says Brian Cameron, faculty director and associate dean for professional graduate programs.

Studies show many organizations do not successfully execute their business strategy because they don’t have a clear picture of the state of the organization and how they can achieve their goals. Business architecture will reveal an organization’s actual structure and the changes necessary to carry out t strategic objectives to reach goals.

The certificate is designed for professionals such as business analysts who aspire to move into planning and execution, or those working in information technology who want to move into a strategy role. The curriculum includes courses in emerging trends, technology and corporate innovation; and the foundational concepts of enterprise modeling.
Students may apply the credits toward the online MBA, or the masters in enterprise architecture and business transformation or corporate innovation and entrepreneurship. For information on this program and the tuition reduction available to you, your spouse and legal dependents, visit Penn State World Campus Edcor website.
